Swiss Snuff Bottle Carved Figural Dog Navajo Sterling Stand Eugene. Presented is a snuff bottle with an ornate carved figural dog in a sit position. The bottle rest in a decorative engraved sterling silver stand marked EB STERLING. It is marked for the Navajo silver maker Eugene Belone of New Mexico. The bottle has a curved hook shape with a ridged surface with a screw on light color lid carved to form a figural dog in an astute sitting position. The bottle rest in a post with a ring that is set into a square box engraved with an engraved design with no monogram. The silver has no dents or dings and only some very fine scratches in the high finish, and the bottle has only a chip in the bottom of the curve with no other damage that I can see. This beautiful and artful piece great for display in almost any décor or setting. I have an interesting assortment of items listed so please look at my other auctions. Bottle 3 7/8 inches long, ½ inch wide. Stand 6 ¼ inches high to top of post, ½ inch high to top of box, 3 inches x 3 inches wide. 4 ounces on my postal scale or 111 grams. 3.5 ounces on my postal scale or 100 grams. No dents, no dings, no monogram, some fine scratches in the silver, a small nick in the bottom curve of bottle, some fine scratches and some discoloration in the lid.
